Jeff: Hello, everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're going to take a look at this Tuson Towable Tire Pressure Monitoring System with the six sensors.Now, this tire pressure monitoring system will allow you to monitor your trailer or your motor home tire pressure and temperature. Properly inflated tires will increase your fuel economy, help extend your tire life, and they'll even improve safety and environmental efficiency.What's nice about this kit is it offers interchangeable valve stems that allow you to fit both valve diameter size holes out there, so you can fit both the .453 diameter and the .625 diameter valve holes. And the way you can tell that apart, if you don't know, of course it's on your vehicle. If the wheels go up to 15 inches, the diameter will be the .453 size, and if your wheels are 16 inches and larger diameter, they'll use the .625 diameter size.

And again, it comes with that. You can just interchange it, just has the different size grommets that you would use.Now, these sensors do use radio frequency to transmit realtime data to your in-cab receiver. The sensors will mount securely inside your trailer or motor home tires, and it has designated wheel orientation, which is clearly marked on the surface of each sensor. The interchangeable wheel order means there's no need to move the sensors after a tire rotation, and the sensors do have a longer life expectancy than a lot of those external cab sensors that you'll see on TPS systems.The receiver unit, which is this portion right here, this is a nice large receiver unit, displays critical tire monitoring parameters. It'll show the tire pressure, tire temperature, the sensor's battery voltage, and the repeater's input voltage.

It does offer visual and audible alarm warnings, which are immediately sent to the receiver when any abnormality's detected, and the screen can be turned off while still monitoring in the background. It does have an alarm. Volume can be adjusted or muted. It does give you customizable settings, so it allows you to adjust to your desired units of measurement. The temperature units will include fahrenheit and Celsius, and the pressure units will include KPA, PSI, and bar.Now, at the end of this video, I'm going to hook this up to some 12 volt power just to show you what that receiver face looks like.

The radio frequency repeater right here, this will enhance your radio frequency transmission range between the sensors and the receiver.Now, this kit will include everything shown here on the table. It includes the six sensors and the interchangeable valve stems. It includes the receiver, and if you notice, I've already attached it to the suction cup holder. Has the repeater over here, the power cable right here, some installation hardware, some cable ties, and a nice user's manual to describe how everything works and how it installs.A few specs on this system, the operating voltage is 12 to 24 volts DC. The receiver, the pressure monitoring range for the receiver is 0 to 203 PSI.

The temperature monitoring range is a negative 40 degrees fahrenheit, to 257 degrees fahrenheit.Just to give you an idea of the size on this, the width is going to be 4 1/2 inches. Height is 2 1/8 inches, and the depth is only 1 inch deep. And on the repeater, it's going to give you about 90 inches of cable here. The dimension on it is going to be 2 1/2 inches by 3 1/2 inches, and the depth or thickness on this, about 7/8 of an inch.So again, what I'm going to do is, got a 12 volt power supply here. We'll go ahead and push in our 12 volt power plug. We'll go ahead and plug it into the receiver, which is right underneath here. And then you'll see there's a red button here. If you just push on that, you'll see the light comes on, and that's showing you that it's supplying the power, it's on, and you can see the screen there, very large numbers, very legible.And then, just by changing the screen, there's all your controls here on the side, you can set it for the pressure and the temperature, and it shows you the six different positions. And then, again, if you just push that, it'll turn it off. Lights off. If you push it again, it turns it on.But that should do it for the review on this Tuson Towable Tire Pressure Monitoring System with the six sensors.
