This video is a crash course on the banking crisis in India (explained). Indian Public Sector Banks PSBs have huge debt which are non performing assets that is increasing year on year. The GOI and RBI has passes the Insolvency & Bankruptcy Code in 2016 to deal with the non performing assets and stressed assets. Govt has also come up with the idea of Bank merger / consolidation so that there should fewer but stronger PSBs in the country.
