Описание: 2021ലായിരുന്നു ആ സംഭവം. അന്ന് തിരുവനന്തപുരം മേയര്‍ ആര്യാ രാജേന്ദ്രന്റെ ഔദ്യോഗിക വാഹനം രാഷ്ട്രപതിയുടെ വാഹനവ്യൂഹത്തെ ഓവര്‍ടേക്ക് ചെയ്യാന്‍ ശ്രമിച്ചിരുന്നു. ഇത് വലിയ വിവാദമായി. ഇത്തരം സംഭവങ്ങള്‍ ഒഴിവാക്കാന്‍ വേണ്ടി കൂടിയാണ് മേയര്‍ വിമാനത്താവള സന്ദര്‍ശനം ഒഴിവാക്കിയത്.2021ല്‍ പി.എന്‍.പണിക്കര്‍ ഫൗണ്ടേഷന്റെ ചടങ്ങില്‍ പങ്കെടുക്കാനാണ് രാഷ്ട്രപതി കോവിന്ദ് തലസ്ഥാനത്തെത്തിയത്. ഗവര്‍ണറും മുഖ്യമന്ത്രിയും മേയറും ഉന്നത ഉദ്യോഗസ്ഥരും ചേര്‍ന്ന് അദ്ദേഹത്തെ സ്വീകരിച്ചു. പിന്നീട് പി.എന്‍.പണിക്കരുടെ പൂര്‍ണകായ വെങ്കല പ്രതിമ പൂജപ്പുര പാര്‍ക്കില്‍ അനാവരണം ചെയ്യാനായി രാഷ്ട്രപതി യാത്ര തിരിച്ചു. 14 വാഹനങ്ങളാണ് രാഷ്ട്രപതിയുടെ വാഹന വ്യൂഹത്തില്‍ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നത്. ഇത് കൊണ്ട് ആണ് വി വി രാജേഷ് പേര് എസ്.പി ജി വെട്ടിയത് .
