In this video I'm showing you guys how I install the Lovells Camper Trailer Suspension kit with a 50mm /2inch lift.
The background story.
While travelling the Gibb River Road, we noticed worn out Rubber bushes on the original suspension during a routine check. As we could not get any spare parts and the risk of a complete failure was too high, we decided to cut our trip short and get the suspension looked at.
After contacting a specialist, we were pretty much told that the original system is not intended to withstand higher loads under extreme conditions and were recommended to replace them with a after market kit.
Lovells had a kid made especially for the MDC cruiser highside and so we decided to purchase one online.
As we are living in the Camper we also decided to install them ourself and show you how we went with it.
Overall we are very happy with the kit. The 50mm extra height meant a bit of extra work to get the trailer aligned with the ute again but you can really feel the difference when driving.
