I remembered seeing a cool simulation a while back, where water followed a shape or curve. I thought I knew how to do it, but was missing a simple setting, so my first few attempts didn't behave the way I expected. After following a tutorial, I found the setting I was missing. My mistake was in the curves physics force field settings, I had "flow" set to 0 when it should have been a 1... costing me days of baking and rendering.
