𝐀𝐣𝐚𝐡𝐧 𝐁𝐫𝐚𝐡𝐦 🤓, a Theoretical Physics graduate from Cambridge University, was ordained as a Theravadan monk in Bangkok at the age of 23 and subsequently trained with Ajahn Chah Bodhinyana Mahathera. Ajahn Brahm is a Vinaya Master in the forest-meditation tradition and is the Abbot of Bodhinyana Monastery Monk Factory in Perth with a long waiting list.

In 2004 Ajahn Brahm was awarded the John Curtin Medal for his vision, leadership and service to the Australian community. His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej, the late king of Thailand, conferred upon Ajahn Brahm the title of Phra Visuddhisamvarathera. He was also appointed a Member of the Order of Australia and was honoured for being instrumental in the ordination of the Bhikkhunis in 2009.

In addition to this, he is a published ever- popular author and founding Chair of the Australian Sangha Association, Spiritual Advisor to the Buddhist Society of Victoria, and Spiritual Director of Santi Forest Monastery in New South Wales, the Spiritual Director of the Buddhist Society of Western Australia, including Dhammaloka Buddhist Centre in Nollamara, Dhammasara Monastery, Spiritual Patron of the Ehipassiko Foundation of Indonesia. And happily for us, Jhana Grove Meditation Retreat Centre and the Spiritual Patron of Buddhist Fellowship Singapore!!
