Today, Temptations fans marks the 60th anniversary of the UK's iconic Motown television special "Ready, Steady, Go!"

In March 1965, ‎‎‪@thetemptationsofficial‬ , along with many other Motown acts, went on the iconic Motortown Revue Tour in the UK. It was a special moment in time for music, as the tour made Motown known more globally than ever. In the middle of the tour, many Motown acts would go on to appear on British hit television special "Ready, Steady, Go!" The special showcased the classic sound of Motown that we all know and love today. It was filmed on March 18 at the Wembley Studios in North London and later aired on television on April 28, 1965.

The Temptations would perform half of their two first major hit songs, as they are, "The Way You Do The Things You Do" and "My Girl," including a full performance of their newest release single "It's Growing" in the special . The song was released the same day they were filming and performed during the special and, it's also featured on their second studio album "The Temptations Sing Smokey," which was released nearly a week after the singles release.

This was truly a great moment in not just music but in all of history! I can't believe it's been 60 years since Motown changed the landscape and expanded their fans globally. Not only UK fans still love Motown, but people around the world till this day. Happy 60 years to Motown UK! Temptations Forever.
