In this video I answer a question that asks what is a good pitch speed for various ages who aspire to play college baseball or in the MLB? Also, what is the minimum required pitching velocity for an MLB pitcher? I made a video many years ago about average pitch speed by age and I'll leave that link here    • Average Pitching Speed for an 8 - 18 year ...   but since then I've got to see many more 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, and 14 year old pitchers across the country. Therefore I now have a bigger data group to form my perspective. Watch the video for more but in short here are the average pitching velocities for 9-14 year olds (or at least the pitching velocity numbers you should be shooting for):

Average Pitching Velocity for 9 year old pitchers: 50-55mph
Average Pitching Velocity for 10 year old pitchers: 55-60mph
Average Pitching Velocity for 11 year old pitchers: 60-65mph
Average Pitching Velocity for 12 year old pitchers: 65-70mph
Average Pitching Velocity for 13 year old pitchers: 70-75mph
Average Pitching Velocity for 14 year old pitchers: 75-80mph
