DISCLAIMER
Iacopo Simonelli made a spinning top which spun for 75 minutes in a shroud. Do watch is YouTube video! I of course will be working towards beating this record :) Further more, the LIMBO spinning top, which currently holds the Guinness World Record, spun for 27 hours. However, it is a different category.
