How to Start Your Herbal Journey | Herbalism, Foraging & Wild Cooking

In this episode, I take you along on a peaceful adventure through wild herb foraging, mindful drying, and my first experiments with wild herbal recipes. I'm working on my very first herbal journal as part of a course I started last year, and this video captures the beginning of that journey.

🍳 In the kitchen, I try wild and simple herbal recipes:
– Horsetail tea (for hair and nails),
– Sautéed cleavers with garlic,
– Elderflower fritters in pancake batter.
Some experiments worked better than others — but that's the charm of wild cooking and living with the seasons.

📖 I'm also building my herbal collection the traditional way — pressing herbs between pages, letting nature do the work slowly and gently. It’s my first time doing it properly, and I’m curious to see how my 50-herb journal turns out by autumn.
