Long ago in a distant land, to me at least, Genndy Tartakosvky created Samurai Jack, one of the single greatest animated shows of all time. The story is about a lone samurai warrior being sent to the future, where he has to defeat an evil that’s grown and spread across the entire world. If that doesn’t sound like an ingenious idea for a show, promising to deliver top-notch animation, masterful storylines, and a science fiction mythology to rival the entire genre combined in quality, I don’t know what does. Join me as I give a thorough, but still honest, review on the original 2001-2004 series, and its 2017 revival.
