☀ OM CHANTING MEDITATION

OM is a sacred mantra and vibration traditionally chanted at the beginning and the end of meditation or yoga practice.

OM is the most well known and universal of all bija mantras. It represents the primordial sound of creation and helps gather and elevate energy within the body. Everything in the universe is in constant motion, pulsating and vibrating; nothing is truly still.

In this track, the sound of OM resonates at a frequency of 432 Hz, a vibration often associated with natural harmony. Chanting OM allows the mind and body to align with this universal rhythm. Through this practice, we symbolically and physically connect with nature, all living beings, and the vast universe.

☀ OM CHANTING MEDITATION – HOW TO PRACTISE

Begin by sitting in a comfortable position where you can remain relaxed yet alert. Sitting on the floor with crossed legs is a good posture to try.

Close your eyes gently. Rest your hands on your knees with the palms facing upward, allowing the thumb and index finger to touch lightly.

Take a deep breath and allow your entire body to relax.

Begin chanting OM along with the track. The chant should be soft and natural rather than loud. The purpose of the mantra is to experience the inner vibration.

As you chant OM, imagine the energy rising from the lower part of the body toward the crown of the head. While sustaining the sound “mmmmm”, feel the tension at the top of the head gently releasing.

With every chant, the body and mind gradually feel lighter, calmer, and more peaceful. ✨
