Hey everyone how’s it going, welcome to GamerU tips, tricks and tutorial videos. In this video I’ll show you a strategy to defeat Malthael The Grim Reaper in Diablo 3. Malthael is definitely one of the trickier bosses in the game as most of his attacks cover the whole battle area. In the beginning Malthael will hit you with normal strikes, a striding charge, summon clouds of energy for area of effect and a whirlwind that surrounds him. Watch out for the clouds as they do a lot of damage while your getting hit by Malthael. Though his whirlwind is the most devastating attack as it will continually hit you if your in Malthaels distance. This is a little tricky to avoid especially for mêlée champions, but when Malthael activates this power, jump out of the way and wait until its over. You do not want to fight Malthael while being hit by this power. When Malthael is getting closer to death he starts to kick his powers into overdrive and begins to summon more clouds and enemies to help him. He will also use few more attacks that include covering a portion of the area in a red mist and also have skulls of dark energy circle the area as well. Try your best to dodge the skulls as they will disappear over time. For the red mist, you can either try to roll out of it or stand in between the openings on the edge of the area, just make sure you take out the enemies Malthael throws at you.
