When contemplating this piece, the first thing that catches your attention is that burst of such genuine joy. It’s not just a forced smile, but a laugh that seems to spring from deep within, illuminating everything around it. It’s an attempt to capture that fleeting instant, almost as if we’d caught the protagonist in a moment of carefree happiness.
The color palette plays a fundamental role. Those vibrant oranges and reds of the flowers and lips contrast with the darkness that envelops her, making her stand out. Her gaze is like a flame in the darkness. It shows how light concentrates on her expression, in the shine of her teeth, in the curve of her neck, while the rest fades away, suggesting an intimate space, perhaps a place where she feels free to be herself.
