Today we have one of those videos we really enjoy doing as we had the opportunity of following the restoration of a very meaningful marine clock of the 18th century. This one is number 14 of Ferdinand Berthoud and it is simply a wonderful object to look at. The motion of the balance wheel is really mesmerising and we could look at it for hours; just peaceful and beautiful!
We managed to cover different stages of the restoration process and naturally keeping true to the original clock, the team of restorer did change how we can admire this piece of scientific significance.
