In this Beginning of Wisdom lesson, Daniel Lancaster embraces deeply heretical ideas, including: (1) That works-righteousness (Torah keeping) is capable of making one worthy of Heaven, (2) Gnostic-dualism that views our human flesh as a "sheath" that our soul must "slough off", and (3) repeated usages of the Gospel of Thomas, a gnostic source that claims Jesus said things that contradict scripture.
Each of these ideas would merit disqualifying FFOZ as an organization worthy of teaching followers of Jesus. Having all three together in one lesson is a reminder of just how far from what the Bible teaches this organization is seeking to lead people.
