Описание: In this episode, we’re restoring parts that most people would throw away and replace — but we’re bringing them back to life instead. This is Episode 6 of our 8-part full restoration series on a 19-year-old car, and today it’s all about smart restoration, not wasting money.
We start with the side mirror covers, which are covered in scratches and faded from years of use. Using 1000-grit sandpaper, we smooth everything out properly, prep the surface the right way, and repaint them for a clean, factory-like finish.
Next up is the rear passenger window divider — a metal part that’s heavily rusted, similar to old wiper arms. We remove all the rust using 600-grit sandpaper, making sure the surface is fully clean and ready for paint. After that, we apply black paint with two coats of base coat and a protective top coat for durability and long-lasting results.
Finally, we move on to the windshield wiper arms. These are sanded with 400-grit sandpaper to remove rust, oxidation, and scratches. Once prepped, we paint them using the same method as the divider, so everything matches and holds up over time.
Throughout the video, I share pro-level detailing tips, proper prep techniques, and small details that make a huge difference — all explained step by step, so even beginners can follow along and do this at home.
