Inspired by the song of Pierre d'Auvergne, where the troubadour sings ironically about himself and other musicians like Raimbaut de Vaqueiras, Bernard de Ventadorn and Giraut de Bornelh, defined by him as "a dry wineskin in the sun", this wonderful live recording by the female ensemble Belladonna proposes a real minimalistic and accurate version of some of the most important and beautiful troubadour songs survived to time.
