This video was captured on the second day of the sale; the sale started on Friday, August 2nd. Once this store closes, only one Big Lots store will remain in the state of Wyoming, and the nearest locations to Cheyenne will either be in Denver and vicinity, or Casper. Greeley and Longmont are losing their stores, and Fort Collins’ store closed last year; Loveland long-since lost their store that is now occupied by Arc Thrift Store.

Cheyenne’s Big Lots store was originally located in a former Pic-N-Save in the Cheyenne Plaza, but in 2019, it relocated to this location in Parkway Plaza (across the parking lot, literally). The new store replaced a former Hobby Lobby once occupied by Best as well as Labelle’s. It’s unclear to Optopolis at this time what will come of either former Big Lots space.
