I have a great dislike of "The Hollywood Look" which alters the palette of a movie to provide higher contrast or "pop" for skin tone. Once you notice the teal and orange slathered over the screen you may never look at a movie the same way again.
To mitigate this issue I laid down a single pass color correction using the AAV ColorLab plugin for Sony Vegas. Michael Bay movies are particularly tricky to fix the color grading on. Modifications had to be made with Color Corrector in the low, mid, and high ranges. Modifications also had to be made with AAV ColorLab in the red, cyan, and yellow channels.
