I use the classic equine legacy 2 splint boots which has a splint pad which protects the splint bone, the soft tissues and the tendons around the splint bone. The splint pad guards against crossfire injuries. The classic equine legacy 2 splint boots are made of 100% virgin neoprene which lets your horse’s legs breath and lets heat escape. On the cup area of the boot there is a double layer of shock absorbing neoprene.
