Loving my new David Glen Bagpipe, recently made by Kintail Bagpipes. Had them a few days now and finding the drones extremely steady with lovely harmonics. The modern Kintail chanter, I am liking too. Nice balance and comfortable to play. Here is a couple of tunes from a practice session today. Two compositions - a new slow air which I haven't went firm on a name yet and a Jig from my first book of music ( Land of Bens and Glens and Heroes) called "Heart of a Gordon Highlander". I have had a few requests to record this jig and post it online - so here it is.
I hope you enjoy the tunes and the sound of the new pipe.
