Duishokan Torbatova shows her tandyr oven and explains how she makes bread
Description:
Duishokan Torbatova, a resident of the village of Börü-Bash, demonstrates her tandyr oven, which her family uses for baking bread. The primary type of bread they prepare is called "boorcýk", also referred to as "toɣýš" or "Kalmak nan". Typically, the Duishokan family bakes bread once a week. During major events such as weddings, however, the tandyr is used continuously for several days to produce bread.
