This technical dive pushed the limits of cave exploration, revealing stunning underwater passages and geological formations.

On the 1st of May 2024 Bart Pitala furthered the exploration at this cave reaching a depth of 240 meters. Making Sintzi among the deepest caves explored underwater in the world. In fact Bart had visited Sintzi in the past and planned to come back. His efforts were supported by an international team of Polish and Greek cave divers and we look forward to diving again in the near future and the making of a documentary film providing more insight into the exploration of this cave.
