If it had been Oseni Rufai of Arise TV asking those same questions, many e-rats and data boys would likely have responded differently — accusing him of acting like an opposition party member, claiming he is not a trained journalist, or saying he is biased against APC members.
Unfortunately, too many politicians in Nigeria switch sides based on personal interest rather than principle.
For young politicians coming up in the system, there is an important lesson: the internet never forgets. Whatever you say today — whether you belong to Party A or Party B — will remain on record and may one day be seen by your children and grandchildren.
Leadership should be about principle and service, not convenience or “stomach infrastructure.”
