The Petaling Jaya Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday (Oct 22) ordered a teenager charged with the murder of his schoolmate at SMK Bandar Utama 4 to undergo psychiatric evaluation.
Lawyer Kitson Foong, who appeared as amicus curiae, said the court issued the order under Section 342 of the Criminal Procedure Code and added that the defence argued that the accused was also a victim due to his own mental health problems.
