We're taking you on the ferry and train to get from Penang (Georgetown) to Kuala Lumpur! To get here you must first take the free ferry to bring you back to Butterworth on the mainland and from there on you'll connect to the train. We enjoyed trying out the train in Malaysia a lot!
We booked seats on the KTM Platinum train and the ride takes about 4 hours. The train has facilities such as an onboard catering cart, toilets and a prayer room. The seats are comfortable and you'll enjoy the views of the beautiful Malaysian landscape right from your window.
