The disengagement process between the Indian Army and China’s People’s Liberation Army at the face-off points in Eastern Ladakh has taken a new turn. China on Tuesday claimed that complete disengagement of troops of both countries has taken place in most location at the LAC. However, there has been no official confirmation from the Indian Army or the government to the statement released by the Chinese foreign ministry on Friday. Lt Gen (r) HS Panag talks about India-China diplomacy and what options India has if it fails.
