"Made in Malaysia” is a short 2D animation film that revolves around the society in what’s happening in Malaysia today. Based on one character’s perspective, the main character see’s society around him differently from others. And from that he depicts them as his own form of imagination characters. The characters around him are based on metaphor which is linked to their appearance.
Throughout this short animation, the main character firstly sees the negative and bad
side of Malaysia. After a glimpse of negativity surrounding him, he then finds a bright light of hope where he sees three races uniting together as one watching football at the a “mamak” which is very common in Malaysia. In another words, some would say “Rojak.”
The outcome of this project is to let audiences of all ages to have a understanding ofwhat Malaysia’s society these days are made of in a friendly and funny way.
