One of the must visit places in Kathmandu is Boudhanath, an area full of the most incredible Tibetan food. This week we ventured off on a Nepali street food tour to taste all the most popular food in Nepal. We started off our rare Tibetan food tour in Kathmandu, Nepal, tasting some local Sherpa foods like rildok and rikikur. These delicious dishes are popular in the mountains of Nepal, and were hearty and so tasty.

We continued on our Nepal food tour tasting some other popular Tibetan foods like thukpa, keema noonles, and laphing, as well as some very interesting drinks, like a butter milk tea and tongba! The street food in Nepal never ceases to amaze. One thing we had to try was Tibetan momo. Since momo originated in Tibet, we knew we’d find some delicious, tasty and flavourful ones here. This is one of the most popular foods in Nepal, and a must try Kathmandu street food.

There are so many delicious, tasty, incredible foods and meals to try in the Boudhanath area of Kathmandu, some truly rare Tibetan foods are hiding around here, and we loved tasting them all!
