The Nanaimo River - The City's Best Kept Secret

Описание: Scenery of the Nanaimo River and Nanaimo Lakes put to video via my collection of photos and videos in order to give the viewer an experience of the Nanaimo River starting from the Bungy Zone (the Nanaimo Playground) up the Nanaimo River ... through the Trail and once coming to the river, vast, new world opens up!! Rapids, a calm swimming area / fishing area upstream, the tall, tall trees on either side of the river, the humongous rocks that have been there for decade upon decade.

I show you some wondrous rapids flowing at a rate faster than any human would want to consider even attempting to go down in any way, shape, or form!! Mother Nature is powerful when She wants to be! Sometimes you can hear some of those great big rocks moving underneath the water and those rapids flowing.

From here, I travel up Nanaimo Lakes Road in my Jeep up to the gate and the bridge at the first lake and get out to check things out. I start doing some more filming and shooting from here until I'm satisfied that I have enough footage for the video,
