While out in South Dakota I decided to have my cousin record a switch from a 308 to a 300win barrel on my DTA rifle. This rifle is amazing. When it arrived I had the 300 barrel only for a Elk hunt, after shooting 1" groups at 300yds. I called DTA and had to have the 308 barrel sent to me. This way I could cont. practicing daily while the 300 barrel was cut down to 20". My friends and I can shoot all day within a inch on the same target. The system fits in a eberlestock backpack without sticking out of the top. Meaning no bag extension necessary. This was the best for the rough terrain of the mountains. No barrel hitting branches and two hands available at all times. Went through areas the guide would have had to go around.
This is a amazing piece of equipment and would purchase again in a second.
