Here is a video tribute I made for my friend & former colleague, Sharie Shima who passed away over the weekend.
I've had the honor of working with Sharie for 8 years. As Hawaii's 1st certified broadcast meteorologist, she gave so much of her energy & life to her work. She absolutely loved delivering the weather because it was her passion. In fact, she would often call herself a "science geek". I can hear her laughing right now about that. Sharie's laugh was so infectious. I will miss you Sharie & will always treasure your memory.
