It also explains about the average monthly cost/ expenses for a single person if you are working or students, couple or a family. This data is as per my experience living in Singapore. This video will help you understand the expectations and decide what to choose and how to spend on, while you are in this country either for travel or to live in. If you are an Expat or a student, you can calculate your monthly expenses and cost of living in Singapore with the help of this video. The expenses will depend on your lifestyle so its totally upto you and see whats in your budget. Singapore offers a wide range of available choices and prices. Choices are abound in Singapore. By and large, the cost of living in Singapore is kinder to those who know how to manage their financial resources, and keep a regular paying job.

Transportation in Singapore- As with everything else in life, your monthly transportation costs in Singapore can vary wildly depending on how far you need to travel each day and what mode of transport you use.
Public transport across the city of Singapore is very affordable. Costs can skyrocket if you use private transportation. Cost of Education in SIngapore-
Most expats with children in Singapore favor international schools. This is often due to their cultural background, or the future they see for their kids. An American couple might want their children to receive an American High School Diploma, for instance, to make it easier for them to work in their home country in the future.
With specific educational goals, however, comes a high price. International schools in the Lion City are some of the most expensive in the world.
Public Schooling
On the other hand, Singapore public schools are subsidized by the state. This offers set school fees that are paid monthly. The fees are higher for expats than for Singapore citizens, but substantially lower than those for an international school.

Healthcare Costs-
Singapore is renowned for having an excellent healthcare system. Expats often cite this as a huge bonus for living in the city. Healthcare is not free, however. Workers who contribute to the Central Provident Fund (CPF) pay for government mandated health insurance and received subsidized healthcare. Expats who do not pay into this fund will need to get private health insurance.
