One of their most iconic moments is their arrival to the Battle of the Black Gate where they helped to fight off the Nazgul and rescue Frodo and Sam after the One Ring's destruction. And this raises the question, who sent the Great Eagles to the Black Gate of Mordor? Was it Radagast, Manwe, Elrond, Galadriel or someone else entirely?
