In this tutorial, I will be describing how to use different machines like the Magnum, Shaders, and Liners to render realistic shades while working on a Lord Arjuna Portrait Tattoo. There is a common notion that shading is done primarily with a 9 magnum, this is a misconception that I will be clarifying in the tutorial. Watch how I use all types of needles to render the shades depending on the area of the tattoo. The trick is to work on your hand motion and application of pressure. Another point I've touched is how to create a shadow for depth and the ratio of ink to water to be used. Like in all my videos, I will be displaying my personal techniques, how to work on the tattoo when I decide which part of the tattoo to start working on. The reason I share my techniques is that they ensure minimum skin damage.
