Pimp my Type 81 LMG - DMR, Designated Marksman Rifle.

Описание: Type 81 LMG is perfect for a DMR (mid-range) because it has a longer barrel which is a requirement, a thicker barrel is a bonus.

Note: Variant 2 (Heavy barrel 20.5") Serial number up to 20202000, the muzzle thread is M16x1 RH like mine. Serial number 20202001 and higher, the muzzle thread is M14x1 RH, same as VZ58.

The carry handle is rivet to a bracket that is riveted to the rear sight block. Unfortunately, it's difficult to remove the sight block rivet because you have to remove the rear sights dial assembly first and I didn't want to mess with that so I used a 7/32" drill bit and drilled the flared end of the bracket rivet. Don't drill all the way, just enough to weaken the flare then using a hammer, pound it from front to back out of the bracket. I've since reused the bracket to hold my casing deflector.
