Wonderful Winter Waltz by Dr. Isidore Rudnick | Cincinnati Jazz Academy for Mindful Music Moments

Описание: On a rainy Friday after school, a group of talented student musicians from the Cincinnati Jazz Academy (CJA), a program between Cincinnati Public Schools and the Kennedy Heights Arts Center, recorded two new pieces of jazz music for Mindful Music Moments, written by CJA director Dr. Isidore Rudnick. This 7-piece ensemble was made up primarily of 8th-grade students plus their trumpet instructor Jonathan Wiseman.

Their recordings of “Serene Sunday” and “Wonderful Winter Waltz” will reach a vast audience of students nationwide in Mindful Music Moments next school year, providing invaluable educational experiences in jazz appreciation and the practice of mindful listening. A special thanks to all those involved for their contribution to this meaningful project.
