After an ectopic pregnancy management, the ectopic pregnancy can be managed medically or surgically. If you have been medically managed, the most important thing is to follow up with serial beta HCG monitoring, which is done on days zero, four, and seven. If it is done surgically, again, you may be called in for a check-up a week later to check on your wounds. Now, the other symptoms, especially if you have been managed medically, are ones to look out for, as the medical management may not be 100% effective. There could be severe pain in the abdomen, heavy, excessive bleeding, or giddiness. These are the signs that you have to report to your doctor immediately.
