This first spot is right in front of the Flatiron Building — if you work in NYC, chances are you already know it.
It’s a 100-year-old sandwich shop that made it onto the New York Times’ Best 100 Restaurants list again this year. 🎉
Inside, there’s a long bar facing the kitchen that gives off serious old-school deli vibes, kind of like a Korean “nopo” spot.
They have a huge menu, but I recommend sticking to the grilled sandwiches or burgers. Our go-to order? The Reuben (this time we got pastrami, but the corned beef is also great). I personally love the tuna melt — super simple, super crispy, and if you add a bit of ketchup? So good. I like Joe & The Juice’s tuna sandwich too, but this one hits even better for me!
If it’s your first time at a NYC deli, don’t skip the matzo ball soup you see in the video. It’s a traditional Jewish dish — not your typical meatball! 100년이나 된 샌드위치샵으로, 작년에 이어 올해도 뉴욕타임즈 선정 베스트 100 레스토랑에 이름을 올린 곳입니다.🎉
안에 들어가면 주방을 마주보는 긴 바가 있는데, 한국의 노포와도 비슷한 느낌이 들어요.
메뉴는 굉장히 다양한데, 그릴드 형식의 샌드위치나 버거를 추천드립니다.
뉴욕부 최애 메뉴는 루벤, (이날은 파스트라미 시켰는데, 콘비프도 맛있어요) 저는 튜나멜트를 좋아해요. 심플하고 빠작한데, 여기다 케찹 조금 뿌리면 쏘굿.. 조앤더쥬스 튜나샌드위치도 좋아하는데, 여기가 좀더 제 취향!
그리고 뉴욕 델리가 처음이시라면, 영상에 나온 마쪼볼도 꼭 시켜보세요~ 유대인 전통 음식인데, 상상하는 고기 완자맛은 절대 아니예요! 밀가루와 계란을 섞은 볼이라 더더 부드러워요... (제 스탈은 살짝 아닙니다😂) 당장 저장공유하고 다같이 가보세요오!
