In this video, we continue our companionway project after replenishing our coffee supplies. Boat projects can take hours, days, months, and even years, but we're learning patience, how to fail, and how to iterate.
In this quest we also present some evidence to support our hypothesis that the probability of precipitation increases proportional to progress made on an epoxy project ;). Fortunately for us we only got a gentle reminder of that when it rained just enough to make everything wet but not more.
The main course of this quest is the planetary gear system of our Haqueedo (heavily hacked and rebuilt Torqeedo 503) . Ignoring the golden rule of "if it ain't broke, don't fix it." we decided to service it to hopefully get rid of a screeching sound. We encountered a few issues during the disassembly process, but managed to put it back together and dry tested it before calling it a day.
