A 2003 commercial for the upcoming 2003 Red Bull Flügtag competition event. Featuring video clips from past Flügtag events taken place in San Francisco.
Competitors attempt to fly home-made human-powered flying machines. Anyone can participate. Flying contraptions submissions are size-limited to around 10 metres (33 ft) and weight-limited to approximately 150 kilograms (330 lb).
Sponsored by Red Bull energy drink created and owned by the Austrian Red Bull GmbH company.
The event's name "Flügtag" means airport in German.
The first Red Bull Flügtag competition was held in 1992 in Vienna, Austria. It was such a success that it has been held every year since and in over 35 cities around the world.
Event takes place October 25, 2003 at Pier 30, 31 and 32 in San Francisco, California. Event gates open at 11:00A.M.

This commercial was broadcast by The WB KBWB-TV Cable Channel 13 San Francisco on October 16, 2003. It was shown during the commercial break period of the What I Like About You comedy sitcom. It was recorded with a TiVo series 3 hard drive based DVR. It was enhanced with artificial intelligence software.
