Lucknow UP Development Schemes by Yogi CM Government in India

Описание: Praising Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath for his zeal and efforts for ensuring development across the state, Defence Minister and Lucknow MP Rajnath Singh said that development in Uttar Pradesh was because of the present chief minister and Lucknow’s present condition was only because of Yogi ji.


On Tuesday, Singh and Yogi Adityanath jointly laid the foundation stone and inaugurated 180 projects worth Rs 1710 crore in the Old City area of Lucknow. The inaugurated projects include a two-and-a-half kilometer long flyover built in Chowk area.


Speaking at the programme, the defence minister said: “I have not come to deliver a speech. I just want to talk about Lucknow. I just want to talk about how Lucknow became the number one city of the country. It has been possible only because of Yogi ji. Two days ago I was in Chennai and was happy to hear praises being showered on Yogi ji's work. It is our dream to provide the best traffic system in Lucknow. There should not be any problem in the movement of people as there is rapid increase in the population and number of vehicles on the road. For this, a network of roads and bridges is being constructed. The outer ring road of Lucknow would be ready by October 2022 and a target has been set to deliver PNG (piped natural gas) to every household in the city.”


However, during his speech, Singh expressed his annoyance at not seeing the picture of former prime minister late Atal Bihari Vajpayee in the hoardings put up about the foundation laying programme.


"When I drove out from the airport, I saw many hoardings. But Atal ji's picture was missing in the poster in Lucknow. Atal ji's picture must be there as he is the ‘pran’ (soul) of Lucknow," he said.


Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that under the leadership of the defence minister, the foundation stones of schemes worth Rs 1710 crore had been either laid or they inaugurated. The foundation stone of the projects worth Rs 396 crore was laid while the remaining schemes were inaugurated.


Yogi further said that Uttar Pradesh was the sixth largest economy in the world as on date. "Once a victim of anarchy and hooliganism and infamous for frequent riots, loot of government between 2012 and 2017, the state was in the 14th spot in the development ladder in 2016-17. But today we are in the third place. During the coronavirus pandemic, Rs 66,000 crore was invested in the state which included investments of Rs 5,000 crore in setting up of Samsung factory.”


Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya, who holds the PWD portfolio, said that the state was galloping on the path of development under the leadership of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.


“Earlier, developments were caste-oriented but now development is the sole yardstick. Our success mantra is that we will lay the foundation stone and we will also inaugurate the projects,” he said.


Deputy Chief Minister Dr Dinesh Sharma and Urban Development Minister Ashutosh Tandon also addressed the gathering.
