The Goms Suspension Bridge, also known as the Fürgangen-Mühlebach Suspension Bridge, is a tourist attraction. Similar to the Panoramabrücke-Sigriswil, it allows families with small children and even strollers to cross during an outing. On paper, the Goms Bridge is one of the giant suspension bridges. With a length of 280 meters, it ranks among the eight longest pedestrian suspension bridges in Switzerland.
Unlike the bridge in Sigriswil, however, the Goms Bridge is free of charge and is therefore not referred to by us as a “fairground bridge.” It is also commendable that the bridge is largely wheelchair accessible and can be easily used and enjoyed by wheelchair users, for example. The bridge is also suitable for cyclists (bicycles/bikes) (but bikes must be pushed), as crossing is no problem with a bridge width of 140 cm.
