The Expert mode "Calculation of the base plate thickness" supports by finding the appropriate base plate thickness. It calculates a base plate thickness for which the deviation of the anchor forces compared to the linear force distribution is less than or equal to 5, 10 or 15%. We recommend to choose a deviation of 5% for more safety.
Notice: This function provides a realistic base plate calculation considering the provisions of the design standard EN 1992-4.
In certain cases, it is possible that disproportionate base plate thicknesses are calculated.
We recommend checking these results based on your engineering judgement and if necessary, adjust the base plate thicknesses.
