From the rare 'Cropredy Capers' VHS video, filmed at Fairport's 1986 festival.
The song, written by Dave Whetstone, had appeared on the band's comeback album Gladys' Leap the previous year. The line-up on that recording of Head In A Sack was Simon Nicol, Dave Pegg and Dave Mattacks with guest Richard Thompson - all present here. In the meantime, Ric Sanders and Maartin Allcock had joined as full-time members of Fairport and so are also performing in this video (Ric did appear on Gladys' Leap, but not on this song).
