Spiked Online Editor Tom Slater questions why the cost of green subsidies was omitted from the UK budget.
UK households are facing the prospect of higher household bills to fund expensive renewable projects.
It’s expected that billions of pounds will be added in green subsidies to recoup costs after it was revealed renewable projects weren’t outlined in the Chancellor’s latest budget.
“I was flabbergasted,” Mr Slater told Sky News host James Macpherson.
“This seems to be another detail which has basically been buried.
“The fact that they have to hide it is pretty telling.”
