Long a leader in the biomedical sciences, Vanderbilt University has created a new university deanship to provide dedicated leadership to this unique and important area of research and has appointed Larry Marnett, the University Professor of Biochemistry, Chemistry and Pharmacology and Mary Geddes Stahlman Professor of Cancer Research, to the role.
