Less than 2,000 humans have broken four minutes in the mile. Benjamin Wall is preparing to join them.
After racing competitively since his early teenage years, Ben has risen to become one of New Zealand’s top middle-distance athletes. In 2022, he ran personal bests of 3:44.16 in the 1500m and 4:03.19 in the mile.
This film explores the lifestyle of an elite runner, highlighting the intensity, struggles, and rewards of the rigorous training process.
Created for 154.224 Documentary Film at Massey University. Shot on the Nikon Z6.
