Ingredients
2 boiled sweet potatoes (mashed)
½ cup grated khoya
2 tbsp milk powder
2 tbsp cornflour (optional binding)
Oil or ghee for frying
Sugar Syrup
1 cup sugar
1 cup water
2 cardamom pods
Few drops rose water (optional)
Steps
Mash boiled sweet potatoes until smooth.
Add khoya + milk powder + cornflour and make soft dough.
Shape small crack-free balls.
Heat oil on low flame and fry till golden brown.
Prepare syrup: boil sugar + water + cardamom until slightly sticky.
Add hot jamuns to warm syrup and rest 10 minutes.
Serve soft and juicy!
